All bets must comply with game minimums and maximums at the given table. Minimum and maximum bets apply to entry, initial bets.

Seating at the table

Seats at the table at game 3 Card Poker are only for players.

At every game table of game 3 Card Poker only one pack of cards will be used. These cards are to be changed approximately once an hour or in accordance with the decision of management. Before the game starts these playing cards will be spread on the table and shuffled thoroughly in “Shemmy Shuffle” manner, which ensures the cards are properly shuffled. Then the shuffled cards will be placed into piles, which will be shuffled via mutual insertion into one another “Riffle Shuffle”. This type of shuffling will be repeated at the end of any game. If the casino management suspects, that the card shuffling procedures were not followed, the company reserves the right to proclaim the game invalid and won’t pay out (winnings) the players.

The casino is authorized to use the electronic shuffling device to shuffle cards.

Card values

All cards are counted based on their face value.

The game is for six (6) players. It is played with one pack of 52 cards.

The dealer (a dealing croupier) will ask the players to place their bets on the spot called Ante, saying: “place your bets, please”.

  • Before the cards are dealt, players may place their bets in the BONUS field. Unlike Ante bet, this bet is not mandatory. It is only up to the player, whether he decided to bet on the BONUS or not.
  • The winnings (payouts) depend on the combination value (strength). A player wins a BONUS when he has at least one (1) pair among his three (3) cards. For other winnings (payouts) see table below.
  • A player is not authorized to bet a BONUS without placing the Ante bet.
  • The placed bets must correspond with the game minimum / maximum at a given table. Bets and chips of different value must be placed in such a manner, so the chip of the highest value is at the bottom and the chip of the lowest value is at the top. Once the bets have been placed, the dealer announces “no more bets, thank you.” From this moment on it is not possible to add or remove any bets from Ante and BONUS fields.
  • The dealer shuffles the cards in the required way and then gives each player 3 cards one by one. The dealer also deals 3 (three) cards (face down) for himself. He places these cards in the middle of the table.
  • If a player or the dealer receives the wrong number of cards, false dealing will be announced.
  • Cards will be shuffled before next dealing.
  • If any players’ or dealer’s card gets uncovered for whatever reason, false dealing will be announced. Cards will be shuffled before next dealing.
  • Now the players can take a look at their 3 (three) cards and make a decision:
    • Fold – the player decides not to proceed with the game. The dealer takes the Ante bet as well as the BONUS bet (if applicable) out of the respective fields. Now for this player the game is over.
    • Play – the player decides to proceed with the game. A player must always bet the same amount (as in the Ante field) in the Play field..
  • Once all players decide on how to proceed on, the dealer turns all 3 (three) cards in front of him face up.
  • At this moment the dealer (croupier) must be able to qualify in order to continue the game.
  • To qualify, the dealer must have a queen or better combination (queen high).

Possible situations:

  • The dealer doesn’t qualify (doesn’t have a queen or better). A player will be paid the Ante bet in 1:1 ratio, the Play bet remains unpaid.
  • The dealer qualifies. The player’s cards will be compared with the dealer’s cards, higher combination wins. The order (strength) of poker combinations is listed below.
  • If the player has a higher poker combination, the dealer pays out Ante and Play always in 1:1 ratio. If the dealer has a higher poker hand, the player loses and the dealer takes out the Ante and Play bets.
  • If a player has the same high card as the dealer, they then compare their second or even third cards to identify the winner of the game. For instance the dealer as well as the player have two (2) sixes, the dealer’s next card is a three (3), the player’s next card is a four (4). The player wins, because 4 is better (stronger) than 3. If the player and the dealer have exactly the same combinations, the Ante and Play bets will remain unpaid and get transferred into the next game. It is the so called Push (tie).
  • If a player has a sequence (straight) in his three (3) cards or a higher combination, the player will receive a bonus payout (Ante Bonus) regardless of the dealer’s cards strength. For instance the player has these cards: 4, 5, 6 in different suits. The dealer has 7, 8, 9 in different suits. The player will lose his Ante and Play bets, because the dealer’s set is stronger, nevertheless he will get paid the Ante Bonus, because a straight is the winning combination for Ante Bonus.
  • The BONUS bet will always be paid out, when the player has at least one (1) pair among his three (3) cards. If the player doesn’t have at least one (1) pair, the bet loses and the dealer takes it out from the BONUS field.
