The Oasis Poker card game is played with one pack of cards. All cards are counted based on their face value.
CARIBBEAN STUD POKER Players place their bets into Ante bets boxes. The dealer then deals one card into each of the boxes with a valid bet and one card for himself. Then he deals other four cards in the same manner. All the cards are dealt face down (covered) except the last card that goes to the dealer, the card will be dealt face up.
The players now can raise their own cards and take a look at them, so they could decide whether or not to proceed with the game. The players are not allowed to communicate with each other by any means.
If a player or a dealer receives the wrong number of cards, false dealing will be announced. Cards will be shuffled before next dealing. If any card gets uncovered, other than the last dealer’s card, for whatever reason, false dealing will be announced. Cards will be shuffled again.
After a player has seen his cards and would like to end his game (cease playing the given game), he must announce this fact to the dealer, who removes his Ante bet from the table and takes out all five player’s cards.
A player (players), who wants to proceed with the game must now place his additional Odds bet, which must be exactly double of the Ante bet. At the same time he needs to put his cards down face down on the table next to his bet box.
The dealer will now show his cards, so all the players could see them. At this stage of the game, the dealer must qualify in order to continue with the game. To qualify the dealer must have an ace and a king or better. If the dealer doesn’t qualify, the only paid out bets will be the Ante bets in 1:1 ratio. Odd bets won’t be paid out.
If the dealer qualifies himself, he will evaluate the cards hands of all players. If a player’s hand is lower than the one of the dealer, the dealer will remove the player’s Ante bet, Odds bet as well as his cards from the table. If a player has the same hand as the dealer, than a following high card will decide. For example: the dealer and the player both have two 6 and two 5, the winner is than the one whose next card is higher. If the next card is the same again, the player then neither wins nor loses.
If the player wins, the Ante bet will be paid out in 1:1 ratio and Odds bet in accordance with announced ratios – bets winning options. Odds bet is always paid out up to the maximum set forth at the table.
